01 / Scope of the service
Engagement Rate Calculator is a free informational utility that computes a percentage using values you provide. It currently offers three methods: by followers, by reach, and by views. It does not retrieve Instagram data, authenticate accounts, or provide verified profile analysis.
02 / Acceptable use
Use this tool lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt, overload, circumvent security controls, or interfere with other visitors. You are responsible for the numbers you enter and for respecting the rights and terms that apply to any data you analyze.
03 / How calculations work
For each method, the numerator is likes plus comments and the denominator is the selected follower, reach, or view count; the rate is multiplied by 100. Different denominators measure different relationships and are not directly interchangeable. Figures can exceed 100% in valid circumstances. Zero or invalid denominators are rejected rather than shown as a valid zero rate.

Outputs reflect only supplied inputs, rounding, and the chosen formula. We do not verify your figures or guarantee accuracy, completeness, comparability with other services, business outcomes, or future performance. Do not treat the result as a professional recommendation or sole basis for commercial decisions.
05 / Availability and changes
The utility is made available on an as-available basis. Functionality, content, or availability may change, or the service may be unavailable for maintenance or technical reasons. No account, paid plan, or service-level guarantee is offered.
06 / Intellectual property and third parties
The design, explanatory text, and calculator code are protected by applicable intellectual property rules. Instagram and Meta names are used for identification only. This site is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta. Links to third-party websites do not constitute an endorsement of their policies or content.
